THQ boss Brian Farrell is the latest bigwig to confirm that Microsoft’s Project Natal technology will get a 2010 launch.

Making the comments in an earnings report for the company, the CEO says the Xbox 360’s motion-sensing camera peripheral will be out “late next year.”

First shown at E3 earlier in the year, the Project Natal add-on is a camera-based system that will let Xbox gamers user their whole bodies - and voice - to control in-game action.

Last month TG Daily reported that Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer stated openly during a speech on the recession to those in attendance at the Executives Club in Chicago, a new Xbox 360 will hit the store shelves in 2010.

As yet Microsoft hasn’t officially announced a date, probably for fear of letting gamers, keen to turn themselves into a controller down.
