Samsung is building up quite a line of low- to mid-end touchscreen devices, the most recent of which is the Samsung "Solstice" just announced for launch on AT&T.

Specs-wise there's nothing to shout about with a 3-inch touchscreen, Samsung's TouchWiz UI, email, IM, a 2-megapixel camera with video capture, an MP3 player, an accelerometer, Bluetooth and a microSD card slot that supports cards up to 16GB.

The TouchWiz homescreen offers one-touch, instant connection, access to to social networking via widgets, messaging and multimedia features.

The Samsung Solstice will be available from 2 August through AT&T for $99.99 with a 2-year service agreement.
