Exciting as they may be, printers are also quite useful, so when we saw this effort for under £40 we thought it might be worth a mention.The Canon MP240 printer, copier and scanner is available from PC World for £38.99 with free delivery and promises "high-quality photo and document printing, copying and scanning".
Specs include a maximum print resolution of 4800 x 1200dpi (dots per inch) and a scanner resolution of 1200 x 2400dpi (optical) and 19200 x 19200dpi (digital).
In case you're short of space the unit measures 115 x 444 x 331mm, so you can measure up before you buy.
