An American toy company that makes toys for grown-ups has launched SuperMom a 6-inch plastic action figure that comes with a bunch of accessories like a super long to-do list, groceries, a mobile phone, and a baby.

That's all very well, but where is the dad character? We have to deal with being labelled the GeekMan.

A superhero for geeks and IT professionals, he comes with the rather more unexciting laptop, iPod and one of those silly coffee themocup beaker things.

SuperMom is available from Mother's day, while those not feeling geeky enough to opt for GeekMan could settle for MoneyMan or BossMan - unfortunately neither of the latter two come with any real powers
