Daily Tech Deal: Scanero photo scanning service

Money saving deals, offers and innovations

I'm sure we'd all agree that photographs are the source of a great deal of pleasure and sharing them with family and friends has never been easier, since most of us snap away with a digital camera.

Old photographs on the other hand are a different matter and usually reside in an old album somewhere, rarely seeing the light of day. The thought of transferring these images on to a PC via a scanner can be a daunting task.

This is where Scanero comes in, as the name might suggest they offer to take on the task, burning them onto either CD or DVD.

It does come at a price however, for 500 photos they're going to charge £50 - so 10p a photo. First impressions were that it wasn't that cheap but when you think about the hassle you're saving yourself it might well be worth it.

As ever please make sure you let us know in the comments box if you see a better deal elsewhere or if you've used the Scanero website before.
