DJ Jazzy Jeff has been announced for the turntable version of Guitar Hero - DJ Hero.

Joining DJ Shadow, DJ Z-Trip, Grandmaster Flash, DJ AM and others, DJ Jazzy Jeff will become a playable character in the game.

The DJ will also provide exclusive mixes of Tears for Fears' "Shout" vs. Eric B. & Rakim "Eric B. Is President" and LL Cool J "Rock the Bells" vs. The Aranbee Pop Symphony Orchestra "Bittersweet Symphony".

Hit play on the video above to see the musician describing the news as "a dream come true".
