Compro has announced the launch of its "Intelligent Talking Network Camera", the VideoMate IP50 series, in the UK.The IP50 series claims to provide a cost-effective and easy-to-install indoor fixed camera solution. With real-time MPEG-4 video format recording, the camera offers a built-in speaker, LED lights, a microphone, smart motion detection, and digital I/O for external sensor and alarm.
With the bundled software, users can manage up to 16 network cameras via Windows Mobile 5 or 6 smartphones for real-time remote viewing on a mobile device.
The network camera kit is available now in the UK from Scan Computers, CCL Online, Micro Direct, Aria, Ebuyer, Xenex, CPC, Maplin and Overclockers for around £160.
