T-Mobile has announced that the G2 Touch, its version of the HTC Hero announced at launch as the G1 Touch, will be available in the UK imminently.

Via its official Twitter feed, the operator has revealed: "T-Mobile G2 Touch available to buy online from tomorrow and in stores over the next few days".

Although still not showing up on the T-Mobile site for us to bring you detailed price plan info, T-Mobile had previously announced the handset will be available for free on T-Mobile's Flext tariff from £40 per month.

The G2 Touch, T-Mobile's second Android-based handset, offers a 3.2-inch HVGA touchscreen, HSDPA, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a 5-megapixel autofocus camera and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
