Scott Pilgrim video game planned
To coincide with 2010 movie

Cult comic Scott Pilgrim is to be made into a video game, confirmed the creator, Brian Lee O'Malley, at the San Diego Comic Convention over the weekend.
A feature film is already in the works, starring Michael Cera and is currently filming in Toronto. The graphic novel features the titular character as a twenty-something unemployed slacker who falls for "perfect" Amazon delivery girl Ramona Flowers. However, in order to date her, he has to defeat her seven evil ex-boyfriends.
The whole thing is peppered with video game references, with Scott "levelling up" at certain points and defeated enemies turning into a pile of coins. As a result, it should work well as a tongue-in-cheek video game full of retro references, but we'll have to wait until 2010, when the film is due, to find out.
