Daily Tech Deal: Hitachi 1TB SimpleDrive for £67.72

Money saving deals, offers and innovations

27 July 2009 13:00 GMT / By Ben Crompton

Today's tech deal brings you a hefty hard drive, which, although not the most exciting pieces of kit are none the less very popular.

The Hitachi 1TB SimpleDrive is available from Dabs.com for a mere £67.72 with free delivery, coming with USB 2.0 connectivity and citing simple "plug n' play" usage.

It is likely that the hard drive will be sat on your desk somewhere and a noisy drive can be a pain, so the cooling vents on this should mean it runs pretty quietly, and it'll also power down automatically with your computer.

The 1TB capacity will mean there's plenty of room for any files you may have whether it's for something specific or just to free up some space on your PC.

There's a link below to the Dab website and there'll be another deal tomorrow.
