Vodafone offers free Facebook this week

Free access for mobile and mobile broadband customers

Vodafone customers will be able to access Facebook for free all of this week.

Access on Vodafone mobiles is gratis until Friday, as is logging on to the social networking site on laptops with Vodafone's mobile broadband service.

Customers who use their mobile will not pay any data when they look at their Facebook account, but browsing other sites will still be chargeable at Vodafone standard rate - 50p per day for pay as you go customers and customers without data bundles.

Anyone using mobile broadband to access Facebook will see their data counter stop for the time they use and browse Facebook.
