More iPod "camera" cases revealed

New imaging features "confirmed" by Chinese manufacturers

As far as Apple rumours go, it seems the next-gen iPod touch and iPod nano models getting cameras may be a safe bet.

Rumoured for some time now, Cult of Mac has now uncovered over a dozen case deigns from Chinese manufacturers that show slots to allow for a built-in camera.

If the case designs are accurate, on the iPod touch the camera will be central, unlike on the iPhone, whereas the nano's camera will be in the bottom left corner.

Other dimensions and design aspects appear very similar to the current models, apart from the nano's screen which will apparently become a widescreen display.

The next-gen devices are thought to be due for launch in September, maybe by Steve Jobs himself. We will keep you posted.
