Toshiba laptops can turn up in the funniest of places, however that didn't stop Pocket-lint jumping on the U500 announced earlier in the month to get a handful of hands on pics for you to enjoy.

The Toshiba Satellite U500 will start around $699.99 and feature a 13.3-inch screen, intel Pentium processor t4200, 4GB of DDR2 800Mhz memory, 320GB hard drive, DVD-SuperMulti drive with LabelFlash support and built-in wireless n connectivity.

Coming in that really black black, you'll be able to also get it in white for those not looking for the Darth Vadar look.

Those looking to spec out their machine to the max can opt for the top of the range configuration which will come with a faster intel processor and bigger 400GB hard drive.
