More Sony Ericsson Xperia X2 shots emerge

22 July 2009 9:42 GMT / By Amy-Mae Elliott

While UK retailer Expansys has been busy leaking details on the Sony Ericsson Xperia X3, even more images of the Xperia X2 have leaked out, suggesting perhaps that an official launch is not far off.

The photos released online this time round show the new handset next to the original Xperia X1. The X2 is said to offer an 8.1-megapixel camera with autofocus and video capabilities, a 3.5-inch OLED display, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack and an accelerometer.

The handset is reported to run Windows Mobile 6.5, customised with Sony Ericsson's Xperia panel-based interface with the option to upgrade to Windows Mobile 7 as and when it's available.

We will keep you posted with more Xperia news when we have it.
