Fujifilm has announced the new FinePix S200EXR, the successor to the FinePix S100FS.
Aimed at "top-end enthusiasts" looking for a prosumer option, the S200EXR gets the S100FS' 14.3x zoom lens with the company's latest 12-megapixel Super CCD EXR sensor.
Aside from the new sensor, improvements of the FinePix S200EXR over the S100FS are a new Pro Focus" mode and "Pro Lowlight" mode and five "Film Simulation Modes" including black and white and sepia.
In addition, the camera features a new 2.7-inch high contrast 230k dot LCD, a new "Super Intelligent Flash" and improved battery life with almost a 50% increase on the FinePix S100FS.
Pricing and availability is to be confirmed.The previous model launched at around the £500 mark.
