Following the debut of the device on Orange, Vodafone is now offering the Samsung "Blade".

Otherwise known as the S5600, it's a mid-range touchscreen offering with a 2.8-inch, 240 x 320 resolution display and a 3.2-megapixel camera capable of QVGA at 15fps video recording.

Offering the Samsung "TouchWiz" UI, elsewhere there's a media player, FM radio, Bluetooth, an accelerometer and microSD card slot for up to 8GB cards, while high speed internet and built-in widgets gives access to Facebook, YouTube, eBay and webmail.

The Samsung Blade is available for free on Vodafone for £15 per month on 24-month contracts, which compares with Orange's £20 per month, 24-month contract.
