Daily Tech Deal: Acer M900 Tempo smartphone deal

Money saving deals, offers and innovations

20 July 2009 13:00 GMT / By Ben Crompton

If you've woken up this morning with the sudden urge to invest in a new smartphone, then today's tech deal may be able to help.

The Acer M900 Tempo has recently been reduced in price, now available from Expansys SIM-free for £369.99.

Complete with a full sliding QWERTY keyboard, the handset also comes with a 3.8-inch touchscreen and runs Windows Mobile 6.1.

The claim is that it "quite literally puts the office in your hands" which is clearly a ludicrous suggestion. However, its emailing capabilities and the microSD card slot mean you'll be able to keep in touch and store any important documents - the fingerprint reader ensuring all that information is kept secure.

You'll get up to 7 hours of talk time and 30 hours of standby, whilst GPS and a 5-megapixel camera round off the phone nicely.

Full specs can be found over at Expansys via the link below.
