Hands on with the new camcorder

We got our hands on the new Sony CX505VE Handycam today at a showcase in London for a quick video.
Key stats to know are that the CX505VE offers 32GB internal memory plus extra storage via Memory Stick, 5.1 channel surround sound, a high res Exmor R CMOS sensor and Sony's BIONZ image processor.
Capable of capturing stills up to 12 megapixels, the camcorder offers a G Lens and a 3-inch LCD screen. It also features a hotshoe on the top for accessories and a GPS, but sadly no external mic socket.
Sony's making a lot of the new optical image stabilisation that works on three axis. We saw it in action and were suitably impressed with the demo. Yes you can see it too if you want to press the play button above.
It will cost you £1000 for the 32GB and £1200 for the 64GB model.
