Olympus launches Mju TOUGH-6010

Olympus has launched the new "Myu TOUGH-6010" describing the rugged camera as "ready for action".
The 12-megapixel compact is shockproof for drops of 1.5-metres, waterproof to 3-metres, and freezeproof to -10C.
With a 3.6x wide optical zoom lens, the camera offers a 2.7-inch display that is protected from scratches with "tap control" for gloved hands and the ability to capture VGA video.
Features include dual image stabilisation, "i-Auto Mode" for auto settings, advanced face detection and beauty mode.
In addition, there's "Magic Filters" offering special effects such as "Pin Hole", "Pop Art", "Fish-Eye", and "Sketch".
Complete with Olympus Master 2.2 software and a choice of three colours, the latest TOUGH will be available from July for £299.99.
