Sharp has unveiled its new range of full screen LED backlit LCD TVs in the UK, and Megawhat was there to capture the action.

Hit play for more from Susi at the launch, while we can reveal there are two new series the LE600 and LE700.

With the usual boasts of great image quality and amazing energy-efficiency, the LE600 is available in 32-inch, 40-inch and 46-inch models with the LE700 spanning the same range with the addition of a 52-inch model.

With all models boasting Sharp's next-gen Full HD 1080p X-Gen LCD panel, the LE700 gets 100Hz tech and a 4ms response time.

Sound comes in with Dolby Digital Plus Surround Sound and two 10 Watt speakers, the new tellies also offer four HDMI ports and a USB port too.

The LE600 and LE700 will be available in the UK this month with prices starting at £750.

  • The new Sharps are a very good bit of kit and have been doing well in the latest reviews, although they may not be as slim as samsungs edge-lit models they produce a better picture and at a price which is very reasonable for a top of the range LCD TV
