Gaming laptop gets a paint job

Alienware offers "nebula red" M17x

16 July 2009 18:21 GMT / By Amy-Mae Elliott

If the only thing stopping you from splashing out on Alienware's £1699 and up M17x gaming laptop was that it wasn't available in red, then today is your lucky day.

The company, or more accurately, Dell, its parent company is offering the high-end portable gaming rig in red - "nebula red" to be precise - as well as space black and lunar silver.

There's no word yet on what premium the paint job will demand in the UK, but we're hearing you're looking at around $99 more for the rouge-tinted option in the States.
