Daily Tech Deal: Extra value PC from Ebuyer

Money saving deals, offers and innovations

14 July 2009 13:37 GMT / By Ben Crompton

For today's tech deal we have an "extra value" desktop PC from Ebuyer.com selling for £219.86.

Coming with an Intel Dual Core E5300 processor, 4GB DDR2 800Mhz RAM and 500GB hard drive, what it doesn't come with is an operating system.

For some this may be a little off putting but at this price it may well be worth having a crack and installing the OS yourself.

You'll probably want to do your homework before embarking - looking at open source options such as Linux or playing it safe with Windows (despite extra cost) but overall this appears to be a good opportunity to get a bit hands-on and sort yourself out with a half decent PC on the cheap.

You can find full details of the PC via the link below along with some very positive customer reviews.
