Some specs have surfaced for the forthcoming BlackBerry Storm 2, which - as Pocket-lint previously reported - will be out in September. The big news? The much-maligned clicky touchscreen is gone. There's also the previously-reported inclusion of 802.11b/g Wi-Fi, but the new info suggests that there's also a 3.2-megapixel camera, HSDPA, a 360 × 480 resolution capacitive touchscreen and OS version 5.0.
There's a tie-in with Verizon in the United States, so it's highly likely that it'll arrive on Vodafone over here. For those counting model numbers, this will be the BlackBerry 9550.
We'll keep you posted of any more info as it comes in.
