Daily Tech Deal: Garmin Nuvi 5000 for £168.99

Money saving deals, offers and innovations

Satnav bargains seem to be coming thick and fast at the moment as we featured the TomTom ONE IQ Routes edition just a couple of days ago.

Today we have the Garmin Nuvi 5000 on sale at dabs.com for £168.99. Having looked around, most retailers are selling this for over the £300 mark, with the next closest being Amazon for £219.99, so it looks like a pretty good saving.

With a 5.2-inch touchscreen display it is somewhat of a whopper, possibly more suited for the truck or motor-home, but if you find yourself straining to see the readout of your current model this could be ideal.

Coming with all the usual satnav features the screen is anti-glare for those sunny days and it's got SD memory card support so you can set it to show photos those times you know where you're going.
