"Why Cry" baby analyser launches

Scream translator

8 July 2009 15:34 GMT / By Amy-Mae Elliott

Presumably working along the same lines as the Bowlingual dog bark translating device, ThinkGeek is currently offering the "Why Cry" baby analyser.

Described as the baby monitor of new parent's (sleep deprived, scream shattered) dreams, its "advanced frequency analysis technology" will tell parents what's wrong with their offspring within 20 seconds.

Well, when we say what's wrong we mean within the limited categories of stressed, sleepy, annoyed, bored or hungry.

Battery-powered, the device, that also measures the temperature and humidity in the room, is on sale now for $100.

  • i suggest i can translate better than this 'gadget'. if you put one of these in a room with your baby, any cry from the baby probably then means...

"why the **** have you wasted $100 on this?!"
