Monitor Audio has launched the Airstream 10, an unusual s-shaped radio.Designed in Britain it offers retro looks, FM with RDS, DAB digital radio as well as Wi-Fi streaming abilities for internet-based stations and MP3 player hook-up via 3.5mm input.
Specs include alarm clock functionality, UPnP support, 3.5mm line-out, six EQ settings and a 6-line LCD display.
The unique shape is said to be not just for the sake of it - Monitor Audio says it lets users "utilise two different rotational options" for versatility.
Boasting a strong, ultra low-resonance aluminium shell, touch sensitive menu buttons and real wood veneer this Airstream 10 goes on sale this month for £225.
