If you're enjoying your iPhone 3GS videos, you'll have no doubt found that keeping your hand steady while filming is one of the biggest challenges. A company called OWLE, Optical Widgets For Life Enhancement, has the answer.It's called the BUBO, and is a video grip and lens system for the handset. It also looks quite a bit like a batarang, we reckon. The idea is that you slot your iPhone into the grip, and then it's easier to keep stable.
It includes a 37mm camcorder lens, as well as a front-facing microphone and the company plans support for external lighting and power.
The BUBO will be entering a limited production run in August, and you can sign up on the website to get a notification of that. If it goes well, then more will be completed by Christmas, costing somewhere between $30 and $50.
