Onkyo has announced that it's launching the A-9377, a budget-priced stereo amplifier that - the company claims - still manages to deliver "musicality".
Turntable owners will be pleased - it has a phono input, as well as five other audio inputs. There's an output too, along with a rec selector knob for recording one source while listening to another.
A pair of switched AC outlets at the rear allow other components to be powered from the amplifier too, which aims to reduce the clutter behind some stereo systems.
The A-9377 is available in black and silver, and it costs £300. There's an optional iPod/iPhone dock too, for £100. Both are available now.
