Hoping to offer music fans music on the go without the need for a set of headphones, Gear4, the company formerly know as PodGear has announced a new pocket speaker system that will fit any iPod with a docking connecting port.Called the PocketParty V2 the new micro speaker system that offers improved sound compared with its predecessors.
The speaker weighs 52 grams and promises 1 watt of stereo sound from its two tiny speakers and plays for up to 10 hours using a single AA battery without draining the iPod's battery life. The PocketParty V2 comes complete with a high and low volume switch and is available in black or white.
Gear4 say that the speakers will work with the iPod 3G, 4G, 5G and iPod nano models.
