Samsung launches first phone with night vision camera

3 July 2009 14:16 GMT / By Amy-Mae Elliott

Appealing to what must be a fairly niche market, Samsung has launched its first phone with a night vision camera.

The SCH-W760 has seen a launch in Korea, where the infrared capabilities mean folk can video-conference in dark places.

Elsewhere the phone offers a 2.8-inch AMOLED screen, 8GB memory and a TV tuner.

There's no news on a launch outside Korea, and perhaps even less idea of whether there would be a market if it did.
