Vodafone is the latest company to partner with Google to offer a mobile search service for its customers.

The mobile operator has announced that it will integrate Google's search capability into its consumer service, Vodafone live!, allowing customers access to the search engine on the go.

Available from today, the new service will offer simultaneous search both on Vodafone live! service and the internet so customers can find what they are looking for.

“Our intention is to develop our relationship with Google to ensure Vodafone customers continue to have the very best in mobile services,” said Alan Harper, Group Strategy Director, Vodafone.

Last month Motorola announced its plans to enable users of its mobile phones to access Google's internet search engine at the touch of a single handset button.
