Hands-on with the touchy tablet

Archos are expanding beyond the internet media tablet for which they are traditionally known. We've already seen the Archos 10, their take on the netbook, but here we have the Archos 9, a tablet PC running on Windows.
Sporting Windows 7 at launch – as was the sample we saw today – the 9-inch capacitive touchscreen device will also come with twin Freeview/DVB-T tuners giving you digital TV on the move.
The Archos 9 tablet will be available in autumn 2009 at £449.99 for the 80GB version and £499.99 for 160GB version. For more information, head over to our news story, link below.
