Ixos has launched a new clock radio speaker system for use with iPods, the "Neo".The Neo offers an FM radio, 4 speaker drive units and a 10W RMS amplifier along with 6 preset EQ settings.
It can charge iPods while playing music and users can also sync their iPod with iTunes when docked thanks to the USB PC hook-up.
This also means it can be used as a laptop or netbook speaker as well as offering stereo phono inputs and 3.5mm jack input for other devices.
As far as clock radio functions go, the Neo offers what's said to be an easy to programme alarm clock with the option to wake to iPod music, FM radio or tone.
With a blue backlit LCD display, the Neo gets a "gun metal black" finish while the iPod docking cradle has a flip down lid to protect the connector when not in use.
The Ixos Neo is available now from high street shops for £109.99.
