Daily Tech Deal: HTC Hero with £30 of free vouchers

Money saving deals, offers and innovations

1 July 2009 13:00 GMT / By Ben Crompton

Following a similar deal for the N97, Expansys are trying to make the most of the launch hype around HTC's new effort, the Hero.

As reported earlier in the week by Pocket-lint, the Hero will be available SIM-free, so for anyone in the market for that non-contract experience Expansys will be selling the phone for £399.99. This is a marked difference to Amazon's price of £429.99.

In terms of availability it is possible to place your order of the Android phone now, and the "estimated" time for delivery is 7 days, which ties in with the expected early July launch date.

With the order you'll also be getting £30 worth of Expansys vouchers, which can be used to buy accessories for your new phone - though extra memory is excluded, according to the terms and conditions.

There are links to the Expansys online shop as well as our First-Look review, news story and hands-on pics.
