Flickr announces Twitter integration

Post your photos to your feed

1 July 2009 10:09 GMT / By Duncan Geere

Yahoo!'s photo-sharing website Flickr has announced that users will now be able to automatically share any photos uploaded to the service on Twitter.

To set up your account, go to Flickr's "add a blog" page, follow the steps to authorise Twitter, and then save the email address provided to your phone's address book.

From there, whenever you want to upload a pic, just email it to the address. The subject line of the email will be the Flickr title and the wording of the tweet. As a result, it's limited to 116 characters.

Alternatively, from the Flickr website, just find a "blog this" button on a photo page. If you don't want people tweeting your photos then you can turn that button off.
