Nikon is prepping a cut-down version of its high-end D5000, as well as an update to its D300 model, leaked images and rumours suggest. The images, from different sources, appear to show both a D3000 and a D300s, suggesting two new DSLRs incoming from the Japanese camera giant.
The D3000 is thought to be a smaller, scaled-down version of the £800 Nikon D5000 with no swivel LCD display, microphone or HDMI port.
The D300s is supposedly an update of the D300 - launched in 2007 - that rumours suggest may get 720p video recording and an SD storage option as well as other improvements.
In the meantime, and lending a fair bit of weight to these images, Pocket-lint has received an invite from Nikon to an exclusive press briefing on Wednesday 29 July 2009.
We will keep you posted.
