So, it seems that 20p is not worth 20p any more.No, it's not galloping inflation brought on by global economic meltdown, but rather a bit of a clanger dropped by the Royal Mint.
They don't make mistakes very often, but this one will have you all raiding the kids' piggy banks and scrambling down the back of your sofas.
It seems that an unknown number of 20p coins have been minted without a date and that makes them collectable. In turn that makes them valuable - they're already changing hands for upwards of fifty quid.
You could say that small change could make a big difference, if you're lucky enough to find one.
