Big news: rain did not stop play.

The much talked about roof over Wimbledon's Centre Court was closed yesterday as the weather finally had its traditional pop at the tennis.

But the All England Club was ready for it.

What they weren't ready for was the temperature to hit 41 degrees. Makes you wonder if they'll be installing air conditioning for next year…
