In the States, AgfaPhoto has launched the DC-600uw, a "reliable companion" for outdoor and underwater types.Offering shooting to a maximum depth of 10 metres, or 30 feet, the DC-600uw will snap 6-megapixel stills as well as 640 x 480 YouTube-friendly video with sound.
There's also a 5x digital zoom, no optical zoom sadly, while the camera gets a "Hot key" button that allows you to toggle between land and underwater mode.
Dustproof too, with a 2.4-inch display, the compact offers 12 scene modes, takes SD cards up to 8GB and runs on two AA batteries. It's on sale now in the US for $199.99.
