Cdiscount.co.uk offers free TVs if Andy Murray wins Wimbledon

You'll need a space heater too, because hell will have frozen over

Discount online retailer Cdiscount.co.uk is promising to give customers free televisions if Andy Murray wins Wimbledon. We think that's a pretty safe bet on their behalf.

If you buy a TV from the company's website between 29 June and the beginning of the final match (scheduled for 5 July), and the Great British Hope wins, then Cdiscount will credit your online account with the full amount paid, up to £1270.

However, if Andy's knocked out of the tournament at any time, then the offer is void and you'll have to pay for the telly yourself. At the time of writing, sportingbet.com is offering 27/10 for him to win, which - if we understand betting correctly - is nearly 3/1.

We reckon though, that spending your cash on a telly is a better bet. After all, even if he doesn't win, you'll still have a telly, right?
