Onkyo has announced that it's launching two home cinema receivers - TX-SR707and TX-NR807, and a next-gen Blu-ray player - DV-BD507. Both pack DLNA 1.5 Network Audio compatibility, which means that streaming audio services will play through them. That includes Last.fm, vTuner and other internet radio sites.
The amps also have six HDMI inputs, Audyssey DSX and Dolby Pro Logic IIz decoding, 1080p video upscaling, 4 gaming DSP modes, and a U-port for connection to an iPod dock or DAB radio. There's even multi-zone capability for when you want to pump out music in more than one room.
Also launched is a Blu-ray player with 1080p upscaling for DVDs, BD-Live functionality, AVCHD/DivX-HD replay capability and Dolby TruHD/Dolby Digital+/DTS-Master Audio Essential decoding.
The AV receivers cost £700 for the TX-SR707, and £800 for the TX-NR807. The Blu-ray player doesn't have a price yet. All will be available in late July.
