YouTube has announced changes to how its channels will look - and work - in the future.

Following on from a beta that's seen some YouTubers trialling the new look channels (including The White House) the Google-owned site now plans to roll out the new look across the site in mid-July.

Very basically, channels are now much more customisable to give more of a homepage look and feel that can be tailored to user's needs, but here's a vid with a YouTube bod explaining the new system, hit play for more.
