Windows 7 packaging revealed

25 June 2009 10:34 GMT / By Amy-Mae Elliott

Microsoft has revealed the design for its Windows 7 packaging in the States, saying they've taken on board customer feedback and made it a simple clean design, easy to open, that reduces waste.

The "big bold" Windows logo is said to "clearly communicate that it's Windows 7" while the packaging consists of just the DVD-esque plastic case, the paper sleeve, and a "Getting Started Guide".
