HP announced a new netbook designed specifically for the road warrior this week and Pocket-lint has managed to get a hands-on just hours after the announcement hit the wires.

The new model will sport a number of features including built-in 3G modem and trackpad buttons underneath the trackpad rather than to the side, as found in the company's consumer line up.

But the biggest difference the 5101 boasts over its consumer brothers is the aluminium casing instead of plastic one and as the pictures show the build quality is pretty good.

The HP mini 5010 will cost from $500 when it becomes available later in the year in the US.

Pricing hasn't been confirmed in the UK, however HP has confirmed to Pocket-lint that it will be coming to Blighty.
