The HTC Hero is born and we were on hand at the launch event in London to bring you hands-on photos of the new device.

HTC has teamed up with Teflon to coat the back, making it feel glorious in the hand, tactile and secure.

The distinctive chin, something that HTC seems to like, means it molds to your face, giving a natural fit when talking.

Packing in all the technical hardware you'd expect, and HTC's new customisable Sense interface, the HTC Hero looks to be a hot number this summer.
