BlackBerry 8900 Curve gets 24k treatment

23 June 2009 16:20 GMT / By Amy-Mae Elliott

Computer Choppers has unveiled a 24kt gold version of RIM's BlackBerry 8900 Curve.

The company, that colour-coats consumer electronics, threatens it's the "first" of a new line-up.

An unlocked handset, with the Midas touch, will set you back $999 or 720 euros.

If that's not quite expensive enough for you, then diamond jewellery and other plating finishes are available by request.
