The most common names on Facebook have been revealed, from a 100 million sample of the 200 million members the social networking site boasts.The research, from "social search solutions provider" Rapleaf, looks at the most common first names, last names and combinations of both.
The most common first name is John, the most common surname is Smith, and unsurprisingly then the most common name is John Smith.
Men's names feature heavily in the most common list with only "Maria" making it into the top ten as far as female names go, although Chris is a unisex moniker.
