Daily Tech Deal: Acer netbook under £150

Money saving deals, offers and innovations

It seems now that the opportunity to own a PC of some description is now within the vast majority's grasp - here in the UK anyway.

This view is strengthened by the Aspire One A150-Aw from Acer, available from Expansys for £149.99.

Although, yes, it comes with the obligatory no-frills (possibly no thrills) Atom 1.6GHz processor, 1GB RAM and 120GB hard drive, if your needs are basic - internet, word processing etc - this should do the job admirably.

It runs Linux as opposed to Windows XP. If you're not used to the alternative operating system it may take a while to get used to but it shouldn't be a deal breaker.

Just be aware however, although the price is very competitive the VAT is added to the netbook and cost of delivery, so you'll in fact end up paying £156.61.

Follow the link below for the full rundown on the Expansys website and we'll have another tech deal tomorrow.
