Mio's Navman-branded Freeview-equipped satnavs have been priced and dated for the UK.
Offering "easy-to-use, multi-channel entertainment" aimed for use during breaks in driving or when you've reached your destination, the company is at pains to point out, the Spirit TV range will hit shop shelves in July.
The Navman Spirit TV range comprises of the V505 with a 4.7-inch widescreen, and the V735 with a whopping 7-inch widescreen.
As far as the digital tuner goes, the auto-tuning is said to be easy to set up and both models include a 7-day EPG.
The V735 also gets "full" media device functionality, that means users can store and view video and photos, as well as listen to MP3 music. It also boasts a built-in FM transmitter, allowing users to tune the device into their car speakers via the radio.
On the GPS side of things, the units get Mio/Navman's "Spirit" software and "slidetouch" screens as well as "TruMap" views for uncluttered graphics, junction views and lane guidance.
Other features of note include the NavPix functionality, "Explore Mode" for POI info on new places, pre-loaded "Travel Books" from Wcities and a pedestrian mode, which might not be that practical for the 7-incher.
Pricing for the 4.7-inch V505 is around £229 while the 7-inch V735 will go on sale for £299.
