You might remember the slightly ridiculous BowLingual translator from 2002 that claimed to be able to translate your pooch's frenzied yelps into human language.

Well, the company behind it - TakaraTomy - has decided to update the product for 2009 to give your mutt a human voice, and who knew? Rover sounds like a bored Japanese woman.

We've got no idea what the unhinged Japanese advert is saying, but if anyone fancies translating some of the dogs' words into English then we'd be very appreciative. Stick them in the comments.
